ROLAND PAUL
contemporary flat gallery and pop‑up exhibitions
About
The gallery was founded by Roland Paul Husárik, graphic designer and painter, with the vision of bringing contemporary art into the city in a new, personal and direct form. With 25 years of experience, numerous artistic projects, nearly 2,000 sold contemporary works, and after 15 years in Budapest and 4 years in the Czech Republic, he chose Komárno, Slovakia as the place to establish this vision. The space grows out of the intimate atmosphere of an apartment, where art does not keep its distance but moves closer—entering everyday life, initiating dialogue and creating presence.
The project has a hybrid identity: it is both a home and an exhibition space, both a stable point and a platform in motion. Alongside the apartment gallery, temporary pop‑up exhibitions appear in various locations across Komárno (Slovakia), Budapest (Hungary) and the Czech Republic, allowing art to step into new contexts, reach new audiences and activate new spaces.
The essence of the brand is openness, experimentation and a human scale. The gallery provides space for artists who dare to articulate new ideas, and for visitors who are curious about the living, direct and personal side of art.
This gallery does more than exhibit—it connects. It does more than present—it questions. It does more than offer space—it creates experience. A contemporary art platform that begins in Komárno, yet knows no boundaries in its way of thinking.

éva szénási: silicium arte At the age of 75, Éva began painting in her small studio apartment—flowers and landscapes at first—until expressionism suddenly broke through from within her. Since then, it has become unstoppable. Being part of the opening of the Roland Paul Apartment Gallery is, for her, an absolutely honorable place and feeling. Komárno -Roland Paul contemporary gallery
